Service Call Pricing Pricing is for labor only. Any equipment/parts used will be approved by customer and charged separately. Service Calls must be paid for upon completion of work and cannot be put on account or billed.
Basic Service Call $225 for 1st hour $75 for any part of each additional hour per technician with tool bag M-F 9am-5pm Scheduled for next available day (7-10 days)
Urgent Service Call $350 for 1st hour $100 any part of each additional hour per technician with tool bag M-F 9am-5pm Will be scheduled within next 3 business days
Emergency Same day Service Call $525 for 1st hour $125 any part of each additional hour per technician with tool bag M-F 9am-5pm Will be scheduled as possible same day
Additional charges for ladders, scaffolding, or lifts Requires Van and up to 12’ Ladder - add $200
Requires Truck and 13’ or taller ladder and/or scaffolding - add $300 + 2nd technician fee
20’or higher lift – add $500 + 2nd technician fee
Warranty Service Calls Sound Principles warranties our installation parts and labor for one year after job completion. Equipment failure due to lightning, power surge, or end-user tampering is not covered under warranty, and is subject to normal manufacturer, service repair station and or Sound Principles service call rates. Equipment warranty is honored by the manufacturer to the customer. The customer is responsible for handling all issues related to sending equipment back to manufacturer for warranty repair. Normal service call rates will apply if Sound Principles /The Show Business come to the customer’s location and remove the equipment to send back to manufacturer and then return to customer. The customer will also be charged the shipping related to sending the equipment to the manufacturer. If customer is uncertain, Sound Principles will determine on-site whether or not the service call qualifies as being under warranty and or if the equipment has to be turned in to a certified service center to determine it’s eligibility for coverage under warranty.
